Why Axe Throwing?

Axe throwing is a fun, unique activity that gets your team away from the usual work setting and doing something completely different. Every session is fully coached, meaning improvement is guaranteed throughout as our instructor helps everyone build confidence, improve their technique and get stuck into some friendly competition. It’s not just axes either, our sessions also include hatchets, tomahawks and throwing knives, giving everyone the chance to try something new and find their favourite throw. FAQs

  • Yes. Every team day session is fully coached, so no experience is needed. We’ll show everyone how to throw safely, build confidence and improve throughout the session.

  • It’s not just axes. Our sessions can include hatchets, tomahawks and throwing knives, giving everyone the chance to try different styles and find their favourite.

  • Absolutely. Axe throwing is ideal for work dos, corporate events and team days out because it’s fun, competitive, easy to get involved with and completely different from the usual group activity.

  • Team day bookings are available by pre-arranged appointment Monday to Sunday, 9am–9pm.

  • Yes. Bermuda Blades is based at Perfect Aquatics in Henlow, where you can also enjoy adventure golf, the Koi Café and the on-site bar.

  • For 1-hour team day sessions, we recommend no more than 12 attendees. For 2-hour sessions, we recommend no more than 24 attendees. These are not strict maximums, but they help make sure the session runs smoothly and everyone gets plenty of throws. Larger groups can still be arranged, but with more attendees the session may feel slower and each person may get fewer turns.
