Why Axe Throwing?

Bring colleagues together for a private axe throwing session at Bermuda Blades, Perfect Aquatics, Henlow. It is a different setting for a staff social, team celebration or friendly company competition.

Beginners are welcome. Your instructor covers the safety briefing, helps everyone practise and runs scoring games and a tournament. Your package includes a selection of axes and scorecards; throwing knives are an optional £7.50 extra.

Two covered outdoor lanes and free parking make the venue convenient for teams from Hitchin, Letchworth, Biggleswade, Bedford and Stevenage.

Choose your team package

Both packages include two private covered lanes, coaching, a selection of throwing weapons, scorecards, games and a tournament. Real axe throwing: ages 12+.

One hour · up to 12 guests

£119 Monday–Thursday or £139 Friday–Sunday. Extra guests above 12 are £11.50 each.

Two hours · up to 24 guests

£199 Monday–Thursday or £229 Friday–Sunday. Extra guests above 24 are £9.50 each. Include your full guest count so we can confirm suitable arrangements.

Optional extras

Company name or logo targets: £15 each. Throwing knives: £7.50. Rhino Axe: £7.50. All trophies: £13.50 each. Extras are charged in addition to the package.

Plan your visit

Advance group bookings are available 9am–9pm, Monday to Sunday, subject to availability. Wear closed-toe shoes, dress for the outdoor temperature and arrive 10–15 minutes early. Participants must be sober. Parking is free and spectators can watch.

  • Yes. Every team day session is fully coached, so no experience is needed. We’ll show everyone how to throw safely, build confidence and improve throughout the session.

  • Your team session includes a selection of axes, including hatchets and tomahawks. Throwing knives are an optional £7.50 extra. Real axe throwing is for ages 12+.
