Axe throwing birthday parties in Henlow, Bedfordshire

Give them a birthday party they’ll remember at Bermuda Blades, beside Bermuda Falls at Perfect Aquatics in Henlow. Our 90-minute real axe throwing parties for ages 12+ combine coached practice, a personalised birthday challenge and a tournament in two private, covered lanes.

Parties cost £25 per person, with a minimum of six guests (£150 minimum). Every attendee receives a trophy and take-home certificate. Beginners are welcome; guests aged 12–15 need parental consent and a guardian present.

Free parking is available and spectators can watch. Wear closed-toe footwear, avoid loose hanging clothing and remove bags and loose accessories before throwing. Participants must be sober.

The venue is wheelchair accessible except for the throwing range; an instructor can retrieve axes. Contact us before booking to discuss your access needs.

How Does The Session Run?

First 30 Minutes: Learn the Basics

Your dedicated party host will begin with a full safety briefing before teaching everyone the basics of axe throwing. Guests will learn the correct techniques and practise using a traditional wooden target board, with individual coaching provided throughout.

Next 30 Minutes: Zombie Birthday Challenge

Once everyone has mastered the basics, it is time to take on the personalised birthday challenge target! Guests must test their accuracy and eliminate all the zombies before they reach the birthday boy or girl. Watch out, because hitting the birthday child will cost you points!

Final 30 Minutes: Games and Tournament

The party finishes with an axe throwing mini-game followed by a knockout tournament. This is everyone’s chance to show how much they have improved and compete to become the party’s axe throwing champion!
